Currently, we are looking for a highly enthusiastic Bookkeeper who will work for Telespazio Belgium, Bastogne, in Belgium.
What is expected from you:
The candidate will assist in the provision of effective and efficient accounting support within the Financial Department. The candidate must operate within the defined team and service structure, and will be responsible, in the next areas, for:
- Checking of the invoices.
- Preparation/downloading of the relevant documents linked to the invoices.
- Collaboration with other departments to collect, analyze and interpret the data.
- Bookkeeping.
- Reconciling the company’s bank statements and bookkeeping ledgers
- Completing analysis of the employee expenditures
- Managing income and expenditure accounts
- Initiating and managing financial and accounting software used by the company.
- A team player in the monthly/quarterly/yearly close-out
- In addition, the candidate can be asked to provide support to activities that are not directly linked with this job description but are related to candidate's competencies or experience.
What you offer:
Education and experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
- Good knowledge the Accounting and Finance principles.
- A minimum of one year of experience in a similar function.
Language skills
- Fluency in French is required.
- English is a strong asset (all the documents are in English)
- Another language will be considered an asset.
Computer skills:
- Deep knowledge of Microsoft’s suite.
- Knowledge of accounting software or ERP software.
- Experience working with SAP S/4HANA and/or Exact will be considered an asset.
