Currently, we are looking for a highly enthusiastic Telecom Sales Engineer who will work for Satcom Services in Telespazio Belgium, in Belgium (Transinne) or in The Netherlands (Katwijk)

What is expected from you:

The candidate will report to the Head of Marketing & Sales of Telespazio in Benelux with strong collaboration with Sat-Com LoB at Telespazio Spa IT.

He/She must operate within the defined team and service structure, and he/she will be responsible, for:

  • Develop the satellite communication Business in Benelux.
  • Prepare the Sales Plan starting from market requirements and competitors' services analysis.
  • Identify target customers, and build a customer network in Benelux, specifically in the Government, Defense, and some B2B domains
  • Define and prepare the commercial offers for the provision of satellite communications services
  • Contribute to commercial contract drafting
  • Participate in the events aimed at Telespazio Belgium Satcom Business promotion as a Sales Representative

In addition, he/she can be asked to support activities that are not directly linked with this job description but are related to his/her competencies and experience.

What you offer:

  • A Background in Marketing or Business with specific knowledge of acquired competencies in the Space Industry or Satellite Communication is relevant.
  • At least 5 years experience in the Telco or Space Industry and/or proven and relevant experience in Business Development & Sales for Telecommunication services, with an already established network of contacts functional to the activity

Technical skills:

  • Knowledge or familiarity with Satellite Telecommunication and ICT markets in the BENELUX Area
  • In addition or alternative, knowledge of the Defense and Government Market in the BENELUX area
  • Knowledge of the professional market in Europe and in particular the Telco and Industries sector
  • Deep knowledge of Microsoft’s suite
  • Analytical capabilities and a high sense of work organization

Language skills

  • Fluency in English and French are mandatory.
  • Knowledge of the Dutch language is considered an asset.
